Please tell us your store’s story.
SewEndipitous was born out of a love of remembering a childhood surrounded by sewing, quilting, and crafting.
It came from those precious memories of grandmothers, aunts, and my mother Emily Sue — watching these ladies sew, quilt, crochet, and knit, infusing every stitch with love for friends and family.
I learned all my skills young and fostered them as I grew. The joy and the passion of such traditional arts are something one just can’t explain — it must be experienced. The truth is these nearly-lost arts, once discovered, are best defined as SewEndipitous – Where Unexpected Happiness is Found in Every Stitch!
For me, Lisa Renee’ Baker, SewEndiptious is a way to pass on this multi-generational craft and to share my love of fabric, sewing, quilting, etc., with other like-hearted friends unknown — my SewEndipitous Sisters (and brothers).

For those who have not seen the store, please describe it.
Our shop is 5,000 square feet and offers quilting fabric, HUSQVARNA® VIKING® sewing, embroidery and serger machines and accessories, as well as Arrow® and Kangaroo® Sewing Furniture, and our exclusive quilting and sewing themed SewEndipitous® Designs.
We are located in beautiful Rock Hill, South Carolina, just minutes from Charlotte, North Carolina, off Exit 77 of Interstate 77.
Discover quilt fabric, quilting and sewing classes, sewing machines, sewing furniture, and a wonderful quilting community.
Among the standard quilt shop items mentioned above, we are proud of our SewEndipitous® Designs, which is our exclusive line of quilting and sewing-inspired creations, including greeting cards, adult coloring books, journals, calendars, artwork, and eventually, our own line of quilting fabric. Our very own Steve Baker (Lisa’s brother) brings his unique style and creativity to everything in the SewEndipitous® Designs treasures.
We are just on the border of Charlotte, NC. Therefore, there are too many attractions to mention them all. To name a few, we have tons of golf courses, Carowinds Theme Park, Riverwalk Outdoor Recreational, arts and theatres, and great things in a small town giving a big city vibe.

We won South Carolina last year. The Live showcase that ByAnnie did for our shop really brought in new shoppers from surrounding counties, as they didn’t know we existed prior. Also, during the Trunk Show which we had during our All Carolina Shop Hop, shoppers came in looking for the Trunk Show due to hearing about it on your videos. The influx of new customers is such a blessing. Thank you! As an added bonus, it really has sparked others’ interest to make bags and totes, which I love, so therefore, I was able to beef up my stock on all things ByAnnie!”
We have the best community of quilters in the world. It is a joy being around them everyday.
